I really like this design, I barely use fans to start with, but it should definitely keep the original fan size. I just want to avoid scraping on the side wall when homing the nozzle.

please chek standart fan 5v or 12 ? may be you neede put 2 40mm for 5v ?

My local shopkeeper has some other printers and says in certain situations they print much better because of the large air capacity. We were thinking about putting a radial fan but there is no space. Also bringing the air to with a tube is quite difficult so larger fans are the easiest way to get more air.
