This is a model of a very common style of post seen at the side of UK roads. I have modelled them to fit snugly in to a 4mm hole. I found these tiny posts difficult to print without getting stringy pulls between them.I got the best results on my Ultimaker 2 with the following settings:FilamentColorFabb PLA/PHA BlackSettingsTemperature 205 CLayer height 0.2mmShell thickness 1.2mmRetraction minimum travel 0.25mmZ hop when retracting 0.075mmPrint speed 30 mm/sAll other settings were the Normal defaults in Cura 15.04.I think reducing the speed to 30mm/s was the most important change.
