Plastic bearings proved to be very good. They are made of nylon. The inner diameter of the bearing is matched to the X rods installed in my printer. After their installation the backlash of the carriage almost disappeared. The sound of the motion of the carriage became quieter.

I really like the 3d printed bushings, do they run well? i'm thinking of trying it to get the loudness down a bit. and perhaps increase quality.
