Description

Connectors of USB extension cables are often unreliable so I decided to attach one end of a USB cable directly to a USB to RS232 converter PCB. I also designed a small shoe/case for a PCB to prevent short circuits on the bottom and to hold the cable in place. The case is designed such that the PCB clips into it. The bottom side has a window so the pin names are still visible. PCB: 30mm x 17mm, Cable diameter: 3.5mm. In the pictures: - final assembly - cut or desoldered parts - PCB with a shoe - bottom side Thanks, tips, donations, kindly accepted here: https://paypal.me/ZigaM3 I also design on redbubble: https://www.redbubble.com/people/reintegration/shop And I promote my RB designs on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/reIntegration42
