Using a feeler gauge isn't super great for leveling. Using a dial indicator is the best method so I made a mount for my cheap eBay 10mm x 0.01mm indicator. It mounts on the front right print head screw and is *very* effective for bed leveling. Its designed in such a way that it just does not hit the printer during the levelling process but lift the probe as it moves.
