Well mine was bending toward the right side not toward the back. Thats why I did this. In the end I dont think it makes such a big difference compared to what I thinked when I did it.

I'm not so sure about this design. It would seem that by restricting the bend on part of the Bowden tube, you are making the rest of it take a sharper curve.
