Description

This is the Ultimaker2 material feeder. The printable version as used during development of the Ultimaker2.These models can be used to experiment and develop adjustments for the Ultimaker 2 feeder.

I've a printed version in PLA on my home machine. Works for me. There are a few differences between this one and the one on the UM2. The C2 bit has changed so a 5mm spacer is no longer needed. And the rest of the parts have been hollowed out for injection molding. But other then that, they are functional the same.

Hi Daid, do you by chance have the latest version of this? I noticed that it looks different on my UM2. You already mentioned that there is a difference between this and the injection mold version. Is the difference purely cosmetic (or just to accomodate the injection mold process)? I'd like to replace my actual feeder because I think it is broken somehow. Oh and would it be safe to print it in PLA? thx.
