<p>It is worth mentioning:</p><p>I recently designed my own XY blocks which really help you quickly disconnect the belt from the block for squaring the 6mm rods without touching the pulleys. What I discovered is that one 6mm rod was very parallel to the 8mm rods, but the other was not. Using these arms to square that rod induced bind. The carriage moved much more easily when I allowed that 6mm rod to find its natural position before reconnecting the belts.</p><p>This is probably due to my printed print head not holding the 6mm rods perfectly square.</p>
