The challenge for week 6 was to make a 3d map that captures your path to work or school but fits in your pocket. The different parameters that this challenge was to make it futuristic and make it accessible. The only modifier for this challenge was that it needed a shell. Something new that was introduced into this week’s challenge was that we had to have a “blind eye” basically meaning we could look over one of the parameters, my partner and I ended up choosing to get rid of the futuristic parameter.
Our solution to this week's challenge was to make a wallet-sized holder that has 2 different parts of it. The first part of it was the case and the second part of it is the slide in part. The slide in part has a map and directions you can slide into the case. The way it incorporates the constraint is that we made it accessible that pretty much everyone can understand our design and as well we used the shell so we can use the sliding feature. The way it meets the design problem is that it is a path finder that tells you the directions as well as give you a map so it is easier to understand the directions.
