Description

The holder has two holes for mounting on a wall, but it can of course be fastened with double sided tape as well. I've added a file that has all the parts as well as a tube that is there just to increase the layer print time so that the final don't melt...The download also contains the .3DM file for Rhino (elements in layers). Sorry about the crappy image. Will add a better one soon :)

I made this and found I had a rod of acrylic that fits nicely inside each light socket. I cut little disks about 2mm thick on a proxxon circular saw and wet sanded the ends with 400 grit by hand putting the paper on a sheet of metal to ensure a reasonably flat surface. I than "flash flamed" with a MAP torch to turn the sanded ends into glass clear little lenses. I found that you have to be quick with the torch else you end up with bubbles in the acrylic.
