This is the rocket lamp design for the Tinkerlight system. It requires the lamp hardware kit.
Full details of the system are at:
http://robot50.net/projects/tinkerlight/
The lamp hardware kit can be purchased on ebay at:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-lamp-module-kit-for-3D-printed-lamp-designs-/152047252501?ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:1123
You will also need your own USB power source.
Designed to look like a cartoon rocket ship, the rocket lamp works somewhat differently than the other Tinkerlight designs in that the light module (mounted on its ring) clips into the bottom of the lamp and shines out through the very thin walls of the rocket. The holes in the rocket ship project a little face on the ceiling as well.
The light source supplied with the kit is a neutral white (4000-4500k) LED that consumes 2.25 watts (450ma at 5 volts).
The desk lamp parts will print on most printers without supports and a 6x6x6 build platform. ABS is recommended for its higher heat resistance but the lamp will work with PLA.
