Printed one yesterday (0.15mm), except few strands it's indeed smooth :) Another nice design to watch printing... Thanks!

Maybe photo make changes a bit and they look smooth even more :)

no postprocessing, just remove few strands if exist... it is 0.1mm layer and it should be smooth :)

Did you sand the pieces afterwards? The top looks very smooth? And you don't slow it down when it's about to finish?

Yep I see your point, but on my side at that temp the plastic wouldn't flow out enough for that speed. AFAIK 220C is a quite standard temp, I would say 200C is on the low scale. But I'm quite new to this.

Combination of lower temperature and higher speed to avoid strands even with retraction. But at least 215 is a bit high or not?

Oh interesting... clearly very dependent on filament indeed! With the rolls I have now, no way I would print that quick at 200C (Actually I don't remember going under 215C ever). Will give a try tonight!

Of course :) temp depending on filament but usualy 200C, speed 100mm/s and up on LCD controller.

May I ask what speed/temp you printed those?

No, I am architect by profession.

That was idea. To have really simple (not to much filament, up to 10g :), but also organic shape, as you mentioned, hard to make other way :). But also can be printed without support, and without infill (but this can face some problem on closing shape).

I got some other simple models but this somehow become favorite. Thanks!

Are you a photographer? Those pictures are really really great! Also, this seems like a nice and fun shape because it's so organic and would be hard to make in any other way than 3D printing... great work!
