I have a new problem. I printed the bottom part last night. Everything worked pretty well except a rough roof printed out! It looks like this -> https://twitter.com/yzhao10/status/512259633927692288/photo/1 Do you know what is the problem here? Incorrect settings? Thanks !

Check the msg boards seems you have an under extrusion friction problem. Causing the extruded to just grind the filament. Go to Ultimaker.com community.

Thanks for help! BTW I tried to print the bottom part at 0.06 last night, but it failed halfway...... PLA did not extrude but the machine kept working... I have to do some trouble shooting first.

I used solid works to build this model. Quick extrusions and cuts to scale. It was made to help a friend check his redesign possibilities.

The file should be the proper scale already. The scale is how small I made it to the original of the house :)
For supports on the windows I put some there. Though if you are printing at 0.2 it should possible be ok without depending on how the printer is running

Excellent project! I have 3 questions: 1. what is the right scale for the roof if you saved scale to 0.013? Seems pretty big. 2. I am not quite familiar with Cura, but if you don't put support in the window, can I get the good shape of window? I choose "support type" to "touching buildplate", is that help? I do not see any support structure like the way shown in the manual, I am wondering it will not show in Cura, but will build in model when printing? 3. what is the software you use to build this model?
Thanks, I really love it!
