Technical

Material - PLA (around 300g including side cover, 28hours printing time) - Speaker Visaton FRS8 (around 12€) - Cable, - Small foam stripes - Wood glue Methods Print settings: standard with support and platform adhesion, but(!) strong 3D infill: octet type 30..40% infill rate (you can use "gyroid" infill as well, but it'll result in much more wave like printerhead movements) Assembling (see pictures as well) 1. glue the speaker to the inner side of the enclosre (I know, screwing it is quite difficult to impossible, so you may leave the support material in the screw holes and put a drop of glue on it for sealing it) 2. thread the speaker cable through the opening in the backside and solder it to the speaker 3. put two small stripes of foam to either side 4. glue the cover to the enclosure 5. Enjoy :) Tips - 3d infill is important - sealing the housing is important, every unwanted air hole weakens low frequency support. So take care of the cable entry as well. Don't be frugal with glue. - There's a resonance at around 290Hz, therefore voices will be a little bit louder than at the rest of the spectrum. You can place a series notch filter (4.7mH, 68uF, 4.7ohms) in parallel with the driver to equalize this.
