I printed with PETG, 20% infill (so they could flex just a little), accidentally printed one without support in the split, and this worked out better than I thought it would. Still, use support in the split and carefully trim it away. Printed them on their backs to minimize supports. Your intra-layer adhesion is important to the longevity of these parts. Make sure your layers stick together well.
