I have a box with all kinds of motors and just took one out that was right for the purpose. I think I salvaged it from the lens system of an old video projector. So unfortunately I cannot help you with a good source. But you could also adapt the model to a motor that you have. However, if your motor is smaller, you could also print an adapter that makes the motor fit into the bubble machine.

Yep, confirmed they are all M3. Very nice fit. Likely a little inaccuracy in my printer made me question it. :-)
Would you happen to have a recommendation for the motor? There are all sorts of 12v, low RPM motors on eBay but must of them are a lot smaller than your suggested dimensions.
Thanks -- Jeff

It's actually all M3 screws. If the holes are too small, you can use a 3mm drill to open them up a bit.

What size hardware is used to connect everything? M3 seems to be too big. I don't have anything smaller so will need to order. Perhaps M2.5?
