Fits tightly into Panasonic flash shoes, but is somewhat loose in Canon ones. The 1/4-20 thread for the tripod might require some force the first time it is getting screwed. Be careful not to cross-thread it.The "heavy" version is a bit longer, tighter and requires a 1/4-20 nut to thread onto a tripod head. The flash mount was removed. Both adapters should be printed in the provided orientation.This adapter is not shock absorbing (unless you print it from flex filament, but that might not hold the mic too well). Sounds from the camera's lens and the likes will be picked up by the microphone.
