I made this adapter after using a bunch of tape to connect a length of PEX to my father-in-law's shop vacuum. The PEX makes it super easy to reach under furniture and in tight spaces. I've used it when vacuuming my car and cleaning clogged AC condensation lines and high shelves. A 5' section of 3/4" PEX from a home improvement store is a great place to start.
