#Week 5 Challenge and Constraints This challenge by Ultimaker was to design an unexpected vase with the constraints of After, Worst Day, and a fillet must be used somewhere in the design. The parameter of "After" was interpreted by asking "What will happen when the plant dies and the vase is no longer holding a plant?" I answered this question by creating an apparatus that would look beautiful even without a plant in the planter. The parameter of "Worst Day" was interpreted such that a person coming home after a long day would be happy to see the planter. This is a design that even after a long day, will bring a smile to your face. The modifier of having to incorporate fillets was not a problem because the design calls for soft lines and edges/vertices that are not sharp or harmful.

Technical

In order for this design to function as it is designed a piece of wicking fabric must be placed inside the water basin so that one end is in the water and the other end is in the dirt so the plant roots can receive water. Printing of the design should be completed in a UV protected filament and a filament that is water tight and not water soluble.
