Can anyone help me: I am trying to get an arm for a 21 year old war victim handicap guy, his arm is amputated 5cm above the wrist, and I am not sure if this design works for adults. He also has both legs amputated, and getting at least an arm back would be incredible. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Can I use this design? If not, which one?

We would love to help Michael. I am a school teacher in Texas and we are wanting to print this for a student within our district. But we would love to help others as well! Please email me at joyschwartz@hjisd.net

Hello Michael, we are currently working with a 3 year old boy who has the same situation. Most of the work is being done by volunteers for free, and there are many people around the country who are happy to help. Have you registered at eNable yet? You will find a lot of resources through their site: http://enablingthefuture.org/ At 3D Herndon we are designing and printing a version of the RIT Arm. It definitely requires sizing and customization so you'll need an engineer/designer to be involved. But as I said, there are a lot of good people volunteering in this area. We can also help you with the printing so contact us at 3DHerndon.com.

I have a little brother who is 8 years old and he was born without part of his right arm from just past the elbow down. We live in Juneau, Alaska and we were hoping on getting him one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get. My father and I came across this and we were really hoping to get a hold of someone that can really help us? do we need to size his arm? do we need to go somewhere to order one?

I am building a RIT arm for a seven year old girl. I downloaded the parts and looked through the docs however, I am not seeing the files for the fingers.
