We were always short on the single army pieces, and we had lost a couple of capitals and cities, so I designed these ones. We have the 2008 version of the game, so the pieces look a little different than in older versions. The capital and city pieces are largely the same as the ones that came with the game. The army pieces I decided to do with a raised portion that I then printed in white, to make the number of armies more visible (the raised portion starts at a height of 2 mm, if you want to switch filaments). Then, just because I could (as I had made an OpenSCAD model), I printed some 10 army pieces.Disclaimer:I do not own the rights to the Risk game, but I made these models from scratch based on looking at the originals from the game.
I am a firmware engineer, but my education is in mechanical engineering. I particularly like to work on projects that involve electronics, firmware, and mechanical hardware. And cupcakes.
