This is a simple latch designed to hold a refridgerator door closed. My apartment's fridge is a bit old does not seal too well anymore. My solution was to make this latch so that it holds the door shut rather tight and compresses the seal some making it work vastly better.
It is also good at making sure no one accidentally leaves the door ajar slightly and would be good if you had small ones that had a tendency to try and get into the refrigerator to keep them out.
The latch arm is secured to the mount with a M3x20 bolt and M3 nut. The mount piece is secured to the side of the refrigerator using 3/4" double sided foam tape. The latch guard can be printed in a soft flexible filament if you are concerned about scratching the handle of your refrigerator.
