Dear friends from e-Nable! We've created an assembly viewer for YouMagine which allows you to show a design fully assembled in the 3D view on the design page. This was design specifically so people can share complex designs and still show the relationship between the files and where the printed parts need to go into the assembly. An example is this design: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/pigrrl-zero-raspberry-pi-gameboy Make sure you also click on the Bill of Materials entry inside the 3D view. You can then see the objects in 3D and the lines that refer to files are actually linked. You can also include and reference non-printable files and indicate that they're not printable (a checkbox). This will become really useful as we integrate useful tools that help people who are printing lots of small objects and who want to keep track of what they have and/or haven't printed.

Are there any plans to include this in the HandoMatic customiser?

The assembly instuctions are not yet updated, so the YouTube video shows the assembly method for v1.0. Most of the methods are the same, the main difference is in the stringing of the elastic cords which, for the fingers, are now tied to each other rather than back to posts on the palm. If you look closely at the pictures you can see the elastic cords looping around the channels at the front of the palm.

Amendment to the above (09/02/15), the main picture has now been changed and shows the elastic cords tied off at the bridge at the back of the palm,
