In order to optimize the airflow I designed a fan mounting for standard Dutch radiators. This important when going to a low temperature heating system when using a heat pump. The standard product that I found made quite some noise due to the contact with the radiator so I designed the fan mount so that the fans are mount to the wall instead of the radiator. Now fan noise can not transfer into the radiator.

Technical

I used Colorfabb-XT material because of the higher temperature resistance. In order to print the fan you have to do some nice tricks with Cura. For example take the radiatorVentilatorOnderdelen.stl and place a second object radiatorVentilatorFan.stl. Select the fan and go to per model settings. Select infill top and bottom heigth. Set the top and bottom height to 0 and the infill also to 0. This will create a hollow fan with top and bottom open. Now select both (shift click) the fan and the Onderdelen and right click and hit merge models. Now the fan and the onderdelen will be merged together like you do with a multi color print except I print with 1 color but have 1 part with different settings:) The zip file contains the schematics and the source code for the microcontroller that I used. Look at my website for some more details https://zoev89.github.io/RadiatorVentilator/RadiatorVentilator.html
