I was tired of the stock design, watching the Printrboard flop around unsecured, so I redesigned the XZ Block and with a new cover that clips and screws onto the block. The stock block they sent, got so hot from a bad motor, that it flat out warped and was no longer usable. I am not certain if this works with a base smalls, because I upgraded my Z with the stock Z upgrade they offered. But you are welcome to tinker with it, if it doesn't meet your needs.
