I'd like to machine an aluminium bed for the printrbot simple metal. Do you happen to know if any CAD drawings exist for that? I'm thinking you could cut the ends off the stock steel bed, machine a rabbit on each end of a piece of aluminum plate, then attach the steel ends. This would be exactly how the heated bed version of the simple metal looked.
