Description

For use with the Printrbot Simple. Provides some extra stability and helps prevent scratches on desks and tables.NOTE: Design optimized for flexible filament. Will print in PLA. These printed fine at 0.1mm layer (default MTL config) through Repetier on PLA. A little tight though, had to use a box cutter to clean up the insides a little. For added support I placed the whole setup (printer with feet) on a non-slip mat. Love these feet, they allow me to run my cables under the printer.

Printed with 0.3 mm layers, 195 deg on Simple Metal with after market E3Dv6 hotend and NuNus orange PLA filament (cheap stuff). Came out absolutely perfect and fit exactly. Awesome! I don't recommend printing with elastic filament though. Making the feet elastic will increase oscillation in the Y-axis coming from X-axis movements. The printer should be fixed as well as possible to the most stable surface possible. Even the floor. I'll just put some rubber sheet under it to increase friction. Without it, it's slightly worse than no feet.

Printed with .2 layer height on a higher speed and 10% fill. Came out a little off so I had to pound them on with a rubber mallet and they cracked some. Would recommend being more careful with the settings.

I printed this with PLA from i bought from Printrbot w/ my new simple metal and it worked great!

<p>No this does not work with any of the Maker's Editions (wood). &nbsp;Up to know we haven't thought of feet for the Maker's but maybe we'll work up something. &nbsp;If we do, we'll post it on YouMagine.</p><p>Jeremy for PB</p>

Will this work with Simple Maker's Edition 1405? If not, what will?

The rears came up as not watertight in Repetier... What's the easiest way to fix this?? I'm pretty much a newbie in case the question didn't give that away :D
