In order to get successful prints, you have to get the bed leveled. I find myself constantly adjusting the bed especially to compensate the thermal expansion of the heat bed. This nut lock attachment is designed for PB+ (maybe LC too), giving users the ability to level the print bed easily regardless of glass size and thickness. Those using corner tabs mods may not be suitable for this mod. I prefer the binder clip method since I can easily install insulation under the heat bed.Designed in Solidworks 2009. I can upload the DXF file so someone can redraw it on a different CAD program.Working on a knob for the nut under the heat bed to make adjusting easier.
Technical
The setup
Each bolt has 3 nuts: one under the LC bed, one on top of the LC bed and one under the heat bed. The nut lock holds the bottom two nuts in place, leaving the nut under the heat bed to freely spin when you adjust the hex screw.
1. Print 4 of these. You may need to file it down to get it to fit.
2. Tighten the bottom two nuts and install the nut lock attachment.
3. When adjusting the bed, use a hex driver and turn to adjust. The nut under the heat bed should move as well. Sometimes it will not so adjust accordingly.
**Strongly recommend the use of a CPU fan to cool the parts.**
