This is a pet water station based on the ubuquitous (at least in Europe) 5l plastic canisters. They have bumps on the top for stacking, which register in the dimples in the stand. No need for gaskets, keeps the water in by vacuum. This is a tried and tested design that has survived freezing temperatures as the canisters just flex.
