I broke my leg several weeks ago, and have been very hard on the travel walker that my wife bought to get me home from our ruined vacation. Within weeks, three out of four of the original structural connectors broke. I'm sure that I never would have been able to get replacement parts from the supplier, so I took out my calipers, designed stronger versions of the parts in OpenSCAD, and printed them in PLA on my Ultimaker. Less than $2 of plastic has restored the $100 walker to working order. The design is parametric, so if you have a different model, or have a something entirely different that requires a connector like this, download the SCAD file and tweak the parameters.
