This is a knob I made for a coworker's husband. The insert is the position indicator. The original knob came off a Dacor ECC-36A. OEM part # is 82936, 82903, and 83904. The different part numbers are just for different colors, this part will fit for a replacement of all those part numbers, just print in the colors you want!If your cook of the house isn't much of a "cook"....you can use this knob https://www.youmagine.com/designs/knob-bio-hazard hahaNeed this item but don't have a printer? The machine has product dimensions of 35 x 15 x 12 inches and weighs 36 pounds, making it best vinyl cutter for small business compact and easy to handle. The cutting capacity of the vinyl cutter is exceptional, and it can cut vinyl

The Dacor cooktops that this knob is meant for have a safety feature in the switches. This feature works in the following way: You push the knob down and turn counter clockwise to set the level of heat. If you don't push down, then the knob won't turn. When I printed this knob it appears virtually identical to the original Dacor knob. But when I tried it on several burners, i.e., their switches, I found that I could not push it down far enough to bypass the safety. The opening in the bottom of the knob where the knob is pushed onto the shaft of the switch is too deep compared to that on the original Dacor knob. This means you can't push the knob down far enough to bypass the safety. The measured difference is 1/16". I fabricated a piece of plastic 1/16" thick that would fit into the 'shaft' opening on the knob and pushed it to the 'bottom' of the shaft opening (which is toward the top of the knob). When I tried the fix on the burners the knob could now be depressed easily to bypass the safety. Unfortunately, to change the depth of the shaft opening I would need to modify the stl file. But I don't have that ability. Can someone tell me how to make the 1/16" modification? Thank you in advance for your time and effort in this matter.
