This Netherlands Bookmark was created for Ultimaker's Design Engine Challenge Week 3. The challenge was to design a bookmark for a special person or a special book. The parameter cards for this challenge are “tween” and “evening”, while the expansion set parameter card is “The Netherlands”. When I think of the Netherlands, my first thought is “Home of Ultimaker”. But after that, I think of windmills, which is included to address this parameter. The bookmark design is an iconic windmill applied on a traditional bookmarker shape. What tween doesn’t have a book about the Netherlands? When printed in glow-in-the dark filament it will glow in the evening, satisfying this parameter.
