For fixing the wires on paper craft ships in 1.250 scale I needed a scaffold to hold the wires / string above the model. The end of the string was glued to the model and the other end hold in air above until it was fixed at another place on the model. Also it needed to be flexible - you need two small pegs to fix the traverse to the posts.
