This is a variant of Nick Foley's motor corner design (https://www.youmagine.com/designs/motorcorner)
but made for the back left part of the Ultimaker. Also a bit easier to print due to the upper part being completely flat. I wanted to make it a bit sturdier to eliminate potential vibration. The installation procedure should be self-explanatory. I will add a more detailed description later.
Please note that this design assumes you have removed the MAX endstops from your printer. Don't be afraid to do so, they're not of much use anyway. :)
Technical
- M3 x 20mm hex head cap screws x 8
- 5mm to 8mm flexible couplers x 2
- washers and spacers
- 8 mm linear rod
Hey! I really like your design, thank you for sharing it! The only downside is that I have to remove the LIMIT-switch, I really don't want to do that if it is avoidable. Can you please share your original CAD-file (.ipt or whatever) with us - so we can remix a version where this is not necessary? Thank you a lot in advance!

edit
well... i remixed it myself:
https://www.youmagine.com/designs/motor-corner-alternative-endstop-version

that's not the perfect solution as you cannot reach the screws anymore when it is mounted but at least it should work.

it's always a pain in the a.. to modify stl-files!
