This was one of the earliest experimental/test models made in
Morphi. www.morphiapp.com. We designed it in a minimalist style using
ellipsoids, cubes, cylinders and spheres.
Please note that this model is still a work in progress - a quick
rendering/sketch made as we were still revising alignment and other
tools in the app. The model is included in the app for educational/instructive
purposes.
If you decide to print this model, below are a few important notes and suggestions for you to read prior to printing:
-The thin platform underneath the bottom of the Taj Mahal needs
support in order for it to touch the build plate. You can generate this
in your slicing software and it will supplement the existing platform so
that it touches the build plate. In Cura, for example, simply check the
Print Support Structure box.
-We designed this test model in a large size so you may want to scale
it down prior to print by at least 40%. If you don't do this, it will
take a very long time to print - even on the quickest settings.
-You may want to slow down the printer speed by 50% overall when
printing and especially when printing the smaller domes and their
supporting structures.
