These fit together fairly snugly. So snugly that you may not be able to get them apart! To make the fit a bit more smooth and allow for disassembly, lightly sand the mating surfaces. This includes the sides with the slots, as well as the surface of the slider rail. Then, take two hexagons, fit them together, and work them back and forth until the fit becomes smooth.
