A 3D printed, high precision, miniature drill press. What more do you want? A 3D printed, high precision, miniature lathe? Oh, that's a good idea.
Anyways, this drill press utilizes carbon fiber rods and tubes as the uprights in order to provide stiffness, smoothness, and a no-play stroke.
The extra high clearance means drill bits up to 3 mm can be used. All though you'll need a stronger motor than the 380 I'm using.

Be sure to download the .step file and use Fusion 360 to get the measurements you need to cut the spars with, and to see how to assemble the press.
