@mifga, the handle and metal socket is a good press fit for me so I didn't see the need for a more elaborate solution. I use ABS for these handles and the plastic compresses slightly when mated so the socket stays firmly in place.
To be honest though I found the male part of the adapter to be a tiny bit too small, so it won't hold the socket as well as the handle does but your mileage may vary. We are probably talking about 0.1-0.2mm here.
(A general tip is to keep some polyethylene tape on the shelf. It's excellent in 3D printing when you want to get rid of some play or when you have two parts sliding against eachother.)
