I've done something similar using baking paper sheets and a toasted sandwich maker.

<p>Thank you, thank you, thank you. What a GREAT idea for used filament. We have a 3D printer at the school where I work and have been wondering what to do with all the scraps. We made two "art" pieces using aluminum pie pans and ABS scraps. We put them in the oven for 15-30 minutes depending on the density of the scrap objects. They came out super cool. </p>
