Hi. Thanks for the model. I did not printed it yet, but I will. I want to ask you if you could make the only part missing to make it work (already having the meat grinder). Do you know what piece Im talking about? Let me see if I can sned you a link to an image: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41iu5kTkHEL._SL800_.jpg Thanks in advance. Great work!

<p>Jorispeels. &nbsp; They have food grade enamel paint &nbsp;if you are worried about the plastic when using. &nbsp; If you are worried about bacteria growth after using dispose of this after you use it. &nbsp; When you are ready to make more sausages print another copy.</p><p><br></p><p>I &nbsp;created one of these but have not used it yet. &nbsp; The only problem I saw was there was a little but of movement on the machines metal parts.</p>

Even if you did this the nature of the process may leave occlusions, open spaces, space between the layers where bacteria or microbes could grow. And sanitization would work less well with a 3D printed part than with a smoother injection molded part. The only food safe process is 3D printed ceramics. You could add a liner or use the print as a mold.

Or maybe we need to find some food safe raw material for printing :)

I would council you to not use 3D printed things in a food application especially a raw meat one. On a personal level, awesome!

Yes it works :) The thicker one works with softer fillings - we are creating kabanos (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kabanos) with it. Although it is not exactly food safe I printed it from PLA (PLA is frequently used for food packaging).

Lovely idea! Do want to point out that the process and material may not be food safe. But, did it work?
