I also opened up the slot for the USB cable to run out the back. The charger module fits snugly without the need for any adhesives or fasteners. The beauty of the magnetic aspect is that it slightly shifts your phone as you place it down so that you get the best positioning for the most energy transfer to your phone. This works very well with my Pelican phone case as well.
