This is fantastic! I am starting the print now but while I see the X/Y carriage I don't see a piece where I can mount my E3D v6 hotend.

Tim models in rhino so I doubt he'll be able to easily get you sketchup format. What can you easily import with sketchup? .iges? .step? .sat?

Could you provide me Sketchup files of the parts. Importing stl files and editing will take a long time. I would like to upgrade my frame to 40x40 extrusion

I'd like to build one of these! I have an Ultimaker 2, but would like the bigger size. How far are you from completing yours? Maybe we can put our heads together and speed it along. I probably would use belts instead of the fishing line on mine.

Wow Tim! This is an excellent looking machine! Thanks for all the work you've done - Now I have to choose between an Ultimaker 2 or an Ingentis!
The Tantillus and Ultimaker, and your design - That dual gantry, it's mechanically perfect - after studying other designs and learning the pros and cons of different mechanical systems, THIS MUST be a great machine if built correctly!

Is there a list of how many of each item needs to be printed?

Are you going to use belt drive or the cable drive you have now? I'd be a little worried that the cables could cause problems if they act like a hose real and wind on top of each other. That would change the ratio of hype drive and your parts would come out wrong.
I really like the aluminum frame. Is it 8020 extrusion?

Thanks Jelle
The outer dimensions are 465mm square. The current design is dual extruder with a fine perimeter nozzle and a fat infill nozzle - I use Kisslicer and the 'infill every n layers' feature should help speed prints up with a fat nozzle. The carriage is using 8mm bronze pressfit bushings from SDP-SI. They are listed in the BOM I've linked to :).

Thanks Erik.
To say I'm standing on the shoulders of giants here would be an understatement, a great deal of the credit should go to Sublime who (aside from creating the Tantillus) has also been very helpful during the Ingentis design process as.
Great to see the Ultimaker2 getting the attention it deserves btw - can't wait to see the files when they get released!

Very cool, featured! And thanks for crediting the Ultimaker for inspiration. It's a worthy derivative. You seem to have done quite a lot with it!

Nice! what are the outer dimensions of the machine? 300x300 build volume is a lot. Will you be running a larger nozzle to speed prints up, or just be very patient?
And lastly: what king of bearings are you using for the inner cross: plain bronze bushings?
