A 3D Printing exercise developed to engage with participants and create a discussion of what the future of learning environments would look like.
Using a series of color coordinated token to signify different educational typologies, participants are invited to rearrange the set to represent what their learning space of the future would look like.
Some blank pieces are also available for participants to design their on learning environment.
This design is based on Kideville by kiddesign http://www.kidesign.org/kideville.html

We also discussed how 3D printing can be used as a tool to help break down barriers between teachers and students by enabling students to create physical representations of their work. Participants presented a variety of ideas, such as creating custom furniture for the classroom that caters to different student needs and learning styles, and this one here 3D printing object that can be used for teaching and learning.
