There is a newer design on here that gives more room as it is printed on a different axis. (Key 1 &key2 ) I printed this design with nylon which is a bit more flexible. Thickers was the one in pla.
If you have in general a too tight of a fit, scale only the z axis up by 1 % or so and your issue are solved. (Z is the direction of the thickness of the key)
If you use key1 and key 2 it's best to use a lighter or soldering iron to melt the back to keep it on. Especially if it is nylon.

Excellent design, but I tried using this for a replacement housing for a friend, and the thickness of the key caused the housing to either crack or break. I use an Ultimaker 2 extended printer and I am fairly new to 3D printing. If the inner dimensions could be tweaked just a little, this design would be the ultimate bomb for Honda owners!!!!!

Now if only someone would do a Dodge one.
I have no problems with my Honda key but my wife's Dodge keys are all horribly broken.
