This is not intended to be used for adjusting belt tension. Belt tension adjustment is typically done by either moving the motor mount or making the idler pulley adjustable via a sliding mount.
You could use a pair of the single ended clamps to make a tension adjuster but fixing one on the extruder carriage and the other on a screw adjustable slide.

How do you tighten the belt with this clamps. I can see how everything holds together but if I wan't to tighten the belt for 2 additional grooves I have to disassemble loop, realign loop and show it in again?

Cool, thanks Mark. Not sure why, but both my CAD programs are struggling with the .STL file format. Will find a way around it though. :)

I can't produce a .step file, but the thing is so simple you can just redraw it in whatever CAD you use. I can provide dimensions if you need them. If you want to rework it for different belt widths you can usually do that by simply editing the .STL file in almost any CAD program.

Hi,
Is it possible to post a .STEP file so that it can be customized to the users requirements, ie. thinned etc.
Thanks very much!
