A Motorcycle GPS, while weatherproof, is a $600 to $900 purchase. A refurb Nuvi was $50 at microcenter. I've got a redundant GPS in my phone, and I could lose many Nuvi's to water before purchasing even the cheapest Motorcycle GPS.
