See GARCAD Hotend: http://garcad.com/ Because the GARCAD hotend is water cooled, it is absolutely cool above its water block, making the UMO aluminum plate unnecessary. The GHE is also very compact and short. These features make it possible to increase the UMO Z-print range by about 8 mm quite easily. An early GHE beta test prototype (red high temp silicone) is shown in some photos here, along with the aesthetically superior version currently featured on the GARCAD website used in the Z-height comparison photo.
