#danmar, I've only run it on a compressor without a water trap and have not experienced any problems overheating. The piston to cylinder head clearance is pretty loose to allow for blow by, so the only friction points I was concerned with were the journals which I printed in nylon. Glad you liked it!

This is really neat! One question - does it get hot from friction after running it for a while?
