Our challenge was to create something that would hold a flower. The parameters for this challenge were "after" and "worst day." The modifier card for week #5 challenge is "fillet." Our solution is a vase for flowers. With the parameter cards we used and combined them to make "after the worst day." The butterfly represents life emerging and flourishing in the nice day, for the sun is shown on one of the sides of the vase. When we think of "after a worst day" we think of a good day with the sun out and flowers blossoming, and that is why we decorated it the way we did. Our modifier card, "fillet," inspired us to do the squarish shape with the rounded, filleted, edges. Note that this project is still in the design stage and has not yet been printed.
