For those using 1,75mm filament I created a 1,75mm version of the clip. Simply donload this version for your 1,75mm filament

Very nice and usefil design. I use it on all my filament spools. Many thanks for sharing. Actually the diameter of the hole was a little bit too tight for all of my 2.85mm filaments. The holding clip was ok. So I made a derivative on Tinkercad with 3.6mm hole diameter. https://tinkercad.com/things/emCI7OMkfl9

Nickthetait, you can use 3/2.85 = 1.05 as scale to fit 3mm filament, or... Just widen the hole with a 3mm drill after printing ;-) I can see if I can update the design for 3mm filament and upload it later this week.

I second mutrax's question. Will be printing one for 3mm filament, but not sure on the scaling factor I need to use.

Works great. Inner diameter a bit to narrow for easy usage maybe?
